The lake’s abundant algae, nurtured by its alkaline nature, attracts millions of these elegant pink birds, creating a vibrant pink carpet that stretches across the water’s edge. Beyond the flamingos, the park is home to rhinos, both black and white, which have been successfully protected here. Look out for zebras, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, and numerous species of antelope that coexist in the park. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by over 400 bird species including pelicans, cormorants, and African fish eagles.
