Wilderness Escape at Toka Leya Camp
Wilderness Toka Leya Camp is a luxurious safari camp located in the stunning Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia. It sits on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, just a few kilometres downstream from the famous Victoria Falls. The camp is named after the Toka Leya people, who have lived in the area for centuries.
The camp itself is made up of 12 spacious, tents that are all beautifully furnished with local materials and artefacts. Each tent has a private deck that overlooks the river, providing amazing views of the surrounding landscape. The tents are also equipped with en-suite bathrooms and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.



Toka Leya is designed with an eco-conscious approach, ensuring minimal impact on the environment. The lounge, dining area, bar, pool deck, and 12 tented suites at Toka Leya are raised on wooden decks to reduce wildlife disturbance. suites offer splendid Zambezi River views, allowing you to watch local hippos, crocodiles, and elephants by the water.

The camp’s main area is a spacious and open-air thatched structure that serves as the dining and lounge area. Here, guests can relax and enjoy the views of the river while savouring delicious meals prepared by the camp’s talented chefs. The main area also has a small bar where guests can enjoy a drink or two before retiring to their tents for the night.
In addition to the luxurious accommodations, Toka Leya Camp also offers a wide range of activities for guests to enjoy. These include guided walking safaris, boat cruises along the Zambezi, and visits to the nearby Victoria Falls. For the more adventurous, there are also opportunities to try out white water rafting, bungee jumping, and micro lighting.
