Babylonstoren is a historic working farm with a hotel, spa, farm-to-table restaurants, winery and magnificent garden located in the Franschhoek Valley in the Western Cape region. Stepping onto the farm is like stepping into history. With a rich heritage dating back through to 1692, it stands as one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms in the region. The farm’s graceful architecture, beautifully preserved, provides a glimpse into the past, while its timeless spirit continues to captivate visitors.

Babylonstoren welcomes guests to experience its enchanting farm-style accommodations. Luxurious Suites and cottages provide serene escapes, overlooking vineyards, gardens, and mountains for ultimate relaxation.

Many of the original farm buildings have been converted into beautiful, elegant guest rooms. The estate features nine one-bedroom suites, each granting access to an outdoor pool and a hot spa. Housed within a wooden building with a decked design, the salt room, vitality pool, and sauna contribute to the facility’s serene ambiance.

Beehives on-site yield the farm’s own honey.
