Little Kulala is a luxurious lodge located in the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve in Namibia. It is situated just outside the southern boundary of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, which is home to the oldest desert in the world. The lodge offers 11 secluded and spacious thatched roofs called “kulalas,” which are designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape. Each kulala features a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, and a rooftop sky bed, providing guests with the opportunity to sleep under the stars and wake up to stunning desert views.


Seamlessly blending into the timeless desert surroundings, each kulala boasts exquisite fittings, innovative bleached decks, and a private plunge pool, while a rooftop ‘skybed’ provides a romantic spot for stargazing, complemented by both indoor and outdoor showers.

The lodge is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area, which is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. Guests can take guided nature drives through the reserve, go on a hot air balloon ride over the desert, or visit the Sossusvlei dunes, which are some of the highest in the world. The lodge also offers cultural experiences, such as visits to a local Himba village, where guests can learn about the traditional way of life of the indigenous people of Namibia.
In addition to its various activities and experiences, Little Kulala is known for its excellent dining and hospitality. The lodge has a main dining area and a wine cellar, where guests can enjoy a variety of local and international dishes. The lodge’s team of experienced chefs use fresh, local ingredients to create delicious meals that are served in a variety of settings, from al fresco dinners under the stars to intimate dinners in the wine cellar.
