An Authentic
Kenyan Home
Hemingways Eden is ideal for the appreciators of art, culture, luxury, and comfort. Located on a two-hectare property in Nairobi’s peaceful Langata suburb, it offers travellers an immediate connection to an authentic Kenyan home, history and adventures. Originally designed and built by Tonio and Anna Trzebinski, the 9-bedroom former family home has been transformed into a living museum and private gallery that’s filled with the family’s artworks and creations, as well as a personal library with artefacts collected from across the continent over a lifetime. The communal covered rooftop has a spacious lounge area ideal for sunny days.
Hemingways Eden was originally built in 1992 by artists, Tonio and Anna Trzebinski, as a family home and was later converted into a hotel and art gallery. The hotel borders the Giraffe Sanctuary Forest on the outskirts of Nairobi.
