The remarkable Angama Mara in the heart of the Mara Triangle is perched on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, an unconventional and awe-inspiring location that leaves you feeling suspended between heaven and earth.
The highly coveted Angama Mara tented suites are imbued with the finest amenities and tastefully decorated to create an ambience of pure opulence with bold splashes of Maasai red. Each has floor-to-ceiling glass spanning all along the front to make the most of the dramatic views.
The interiors are uncluttered, classic and above all, comfortable with French Khaki, copper and brass. The lodge is slightly large, with the 30 safari tents split into two twin camps ensuring a private and intimate feel. Both sections of the camp have identical communal areas and dramatic rim flow pools.
Set on the edge of an escarpment, there is little that is conventional about the creation of Angama Mara, with views that stretch as far as the eye can see across the Maasai Mara set 300 meters below.
