Jack’s Camp

Get transported back to a time long gone at one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations, Jack’s Camp in Botswana.

Botswana's exclusive desert retreat

Jack’s Camp is a luxury tented camp located in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans of Botswana, Southern Africa. The camp is named after Jack Bousfield, a British explorer and conservationist who was one of the first to document the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. The camp is situated on a stunning stretch of white salt pan and is surrounded by palm trees and indigenous bush. It is a true oasis in the desert, offering guests a unique and luxurious safari experience.

The tents at Jack’s Camp are spacious and elegantly furnished, with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, and private verandas. Guests can relax and unwind in the main lounge area, which features a bar and fireplace, or take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool.

Set on the edge of an escarpment, there is little that is conventional about the creation of Angama Mara, with views that stretch as far as the eye can see across the Maasai Mara set 300 meters below.
